Pregnant Belly Painting:
When calling for information you will be asked 3 questions.
1) When is your event?
2) Location of the event?
3) How many guests are you inviting and how many do you expect to be painted?
Booking your event or painting session at least 3-4 weeks in advance increases the chances of availability. If your date is not available we are happy to provide reputable referrals.
We require a 50% booking deposit payable by mail or paypal. This is deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled booking.
Areas 50 miles or 1 hour drive time outside of our local area is subject to an additional fee to cover travel costs. Any parking fees will need to be added to the balance of your booking fee.
The amount of time needed for your booking is dependent on the number of people being painted and the type of painting being requested. We have a 1.5 hour minimum for parties.
For classic face painting (full and half face and cheek art/ arm designs) we can paint 10-12 designs per hour. Depending on the complexity, each design can take approximately 4 minutes painting time. For body painting or costume party make-up please call for details.
Please provide a table (3' x 3' min.) and chair, in an area of the event that has weather appropriate protection, an area away from any speakers, good lighting. If you live in a gated community please provide entry instructions and/or advise security of my arrival. Please advise in advance of any parking restrictions or parking fees. Parking fees will need to be reimbursed to the artist.
If your event has a theme we are able to paint according to theme. We do not paint with a design menu book or board. This allows for greater flexibility of account for themes, creativity and imagination! We are always up for a challenge and inspiration as long as it can be done as long as time allows.
Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Face painting is no exception! It is important that your artist leave your event on time and ask that you make accommodations to help that happen. If more than the expected number of guests want to be painted and time runs out, there are a few options.
1) IF the time slot after your booking is available, you may extend your time in 15 minute increments payable in cash at the time of the time extension.
2) Simple one minute designs may be offered to remaining guests to allow your artist to leave at the previously scheduled time.
We only use the highest quality professional cosmetic grade make up and glitter with FDA approved ingredients.
This "paint" is water based make up . To remove please do not use baby wipes. The rubbing with a baby wipe can cause irritation of the skin. We recommend using liquid liquid soap or lathered soap and rub the make up around the face. Use a wet soft rag or face sponge to wipe off the soapy makeup until the face is clean.
Face painting is fun for all ages however it is not recommended for children under the age of 3. Small children can often be frightened or unwilling to sit long enough to be painted. However, for children over the approximate age of 18 mo.- 2 years we can offer a small quick design on their arm or hand. This is a gentle way to introduce them to being painted. A quick design on the hand or arm may be more fun for anxious young children and they can enjoy it through out the day.
However no one will be painted without being a willing participant. If a child objects to being painted we will respect their wishes and they will not be painted.
Likewise, we reserve the right to refuse to paint anyone. Reasons can include but are not limited to, those who are rude, abusive, violent or intoxicated.
For your safety and the safety of others if someone appears to be suffering from an infectious condition such as excessive runny nose or irritation of skin on their face, arms or eyes, they will not be painted. However, if possible, another area will be suggested that can be safely painted.
We do offer individual appointments for occasions such as Cosplay, Mardi Gras, Day of the Dead or Fantasy Face Painting. Contact us for more information.
